COYOTAS TORTILLA PIZZA

Yeah, we said pizza! Tortillas can do more than tacos and burritos - and if you love a thin-crust pizza made with clean ingredients, we invite you to ditch the freezer aisle and come hang out with us. In this recipe we're calling out some of our favorite clean-label brands that we cook with at home.

 

INGREDIENTS

3 large Coyotas tortillas
1 cup organic tomato sauce 
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar (Rumiano)
1 cup beef sausage (Teton), sliced into ¼ inch wheels
1 cup ham (True Story or Applegate), sliced into ½ inch squares
1 Tablespoon dry oregano 

 

INSTRUCTIONS    

1. Heat oven to 400°.
2. Place a tortilla on heated pizza stone.  
3. Spread ⅓ c of tomato sauce on the tortilla, almost to the edges.
4. Evenly scatter ½ cup of cheese on top of the tomato sauce.
5. Dress with desired amount of ham or sausage or a combination of both and sprinkle with oregano.
6. Bake for 15 minutes or until desired crispiness is achieved.
